About Jose Desmarais, PMHNP-BC

Jose Desmarais, PMHNP-BC, is a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner at Sincere Psychiatry in Delray Beach, Florida. Jose, who goes by Josie, is passionate about helping people in the South Florida community reach better mental health. 

Josie earned her psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner degree (PMHNP) from Wilkes University. She then went on to receive specialized training at the State Correctional Institution – Muncy in Pennsylvania. 

She works closely with mental health patients in outpatient and inpatient settings, collaborating with them to find a treatment plan that works best for their needs. She provides comprehensive care for a wide range of conditions, including mood, personality, and anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, substance abuse, and gertiatric-related conditions. Her goal is to help every individual live a productive and happy life. 

Josie believes in the power of developing strong communication and relationships with those in her care. She provides a safe, open, and nonjudgemental space for patients to share their concerns. Josie spends time getting to know them and offers non-pharmacological and pharmacological solutions to overcome their challenges. She ensures that you get the adequate care you need for improved well-being.
